Raise Building Height Limit

I spent the past few days building a castle on a mountain top. I have two floors, at the moment, a courtyard and two side buildings. This is next to my village at the base of the mountain. Most of the past two days has been spent terraforming the land to the shape I want. I am 3 years game time in and don't want to start over. I realized today that I cannot go up another floor on my castle. Is there a way to increase the height limit? Thank you.

There is a global limit of 16 levels. So if you want a taller castle, you need to start a lower elevation.

how do I make a nice roof for this here : its base dimension is about 33 width and 48 height and im already at floor level 10 :img here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/9awrn817fxc18en/howtoniceroof.png?dl=0 so i can just set 3 new levels or ? are there somewhere nice roof images/inspiration ?

edit oh it seems i have 6 walls in height left
