How do I view different levels of floors?

EDIT: Yeah, I was being dumb. I just have to scroll for longer/press the button multiple times. Oops.

Just built a second story house, can't for the life of me work out how to look at the bottom floor. The Terrain layer up/down isn't working, so I assume that's for something else.

Am I being dumb? Any help will be much appreciated! :')

Ctrl + Mouse Wheel is the shortcut. Though I have question for you, I built stairs but can't figure out how to build floor of the 1st story, I changed the level but it keeps just building over the "grass level". How did you manage?

I built the flooring of the first story before moving upwards. Can't help you I'm afraid, I would assume if you get it at the right level it'd allow you as I just added furniture to the bottom floor. If it's bugging out, I'd recommend just reporting it and deconstructing/rebuilding and making sure you floor the bottom first.

To make 1st story floor, you need to place walls first, then ctrl + scroll up so you see the top of the walls, then place the floors starting off at the top of one of the wall sections.

The game is a bit iffy when you try to place items on different floors, but with some practice and camera control you'll get the results you want.

Make sure you don't have any of the build, jobs, schedule, character etc. menus open or have something selected. I found it finicky sometimes but cannot always repeat it. Don't forget you always have the buttons in the top left corner to move up and down Z levels as well.
