Yeah. Broken mechanic, that. And here, I've been trying to plant things where buildings wouldn't shade them for too much of the day. Hopefully it'll get fixed.

As far as I have read, the underground food growing is planed just for mushrooms. But, who knows, a bug might become a feature.

It would be an incredibly dumb feature. Most plants need sunlight.

Agreed. For mushrooms I could see this, but for anything else, no.
