Drawbridge
Are we gonna implement drawbridge or we have to break the bridge ourselves upon invasion to force invaders to go through a maze of trap in the man-made dry moat forever?

I'm hoping to see some sort of object that allows state changes for certain objects, like a bridge to change state or maybe even a gatehouse type setup lower/raise a large gate. Perhaps they'll add some sort of mechanism that can used in such a way, when they add dungeons/prisoners.

If there isn't a working drawbridge in this game, I'm not buying it. You want immersion in your game, and not a minecraft medieval simulator (yeah, I'm looking at you Valheim), then you allow for working drawbridges. Working watermills, too.

I understand. I'd like to see some sort of object that allows for a drawbridge or mill as well. It would nice if it worked for a larger gate, for a gatehouse. Keep checking in, it's only 7 people and they are working on content.

I don't see them adding drawbridges until they add siege weapons or enemies that can scale your walls.

Right now, the AI can't combat against players that wall themselves in fully or trench the outer perimeter. So drawbridge would be nice, but the AI is so glitchy, it makes the raids pointless too even have, especially if you trench your perimeter.

AI cant not cross or climb trench or attack draw bridge. so its not coming any sooner. unless AI bring ladder or shovels XD

Ya know how I know you're not that far into the game? ;)

Freakin' hate trebuchets....

Espec when operated by the assassins who just fire randomly into your town rather than at the walls...

Okay, I guess? I'm on year 3 with 12 colonists. I've almost researched everything and decked out everyone with armor / weapons so not much left to do in the game other than sit there on 3x so I've stopped playing for a while. I don't know why anyone would play past the point I'm at at this point in time.
Build a bridge over a chasm as your main entrance to your castle, then demolish it when enemies show up.

Draw bridge :3
