Rifle goes missing?

So, I'm playing the "Spy Academy" mission, w/ the D.L. Carbine DLC, I get to just before I exfiltrate, and my rifle's A.W.O.L.? I've tried reloading several times, restarting the game, and no change. The rifle's still gone!

I would really appreciate some help that doesn't involve restarting the mission, b/c frankly, I'm not really a fan of that mission to begin with.

Yep. The only weapons available are the SMG, and the pistol. The rifle completely disappears from inventory.

Sorry to reply to an old bug. However i am still experiencing this bug from time to time, most commonly happens when picking up a weapon which has been on the ground for some time, or loading a save after changing some settings. These could be just coincidence, but this is my experience.

The symptoms of this bug are that the rifle is not aimable, shootable or in your inventory if you swap off it. However your character will keep his hands in the position as if the rifle is there, but it is invisible.

Edit: If this is a bug you are struggling to find evidence of, let me know and i will try to get some screenshot/video evidence of it to help with debugging.

I had that, most peculiar. Don't even remember exactly what point it happened.

BUT it was restored after using a workbench :)
