1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
Play the game through once with everything still turned off. When you are satisfied things are working correctly then turn everything back on.
I completed the instructions above, still is not working. Please assist.

I played through SE5 without issue on my 3070Ti card. Since then, I’ve switched to a 3090 and despite clean formats, fresh installs, etc - SE5 crashes out with this same error after five minutes or so.
Interestingly, I have one other game that behaves this way. That being Zombie Army 4 (another Rebellion title) - though that can be a 50/50 chance if it behaves.
Other demanding titles such as Assetto Corsa Competizione, I can play for long periods with no problems. Likewise, other hardware demanding games - which lead me to believe that it’s not a physical issue, but more of a coding conflict.
Everytime it crashes - the file nvlddmkm.sys is the culprit, with an absolutely non-descriptive or useful error within Event Viewer.
