today, February 8, my game was interrupted three times due to an error - I was sending a report. I'm waiting for the fourth time.

Well,in game, wanted to throw nazi into his guard booth and game crashes to desktop.

I get that now and then , so i do not bother with it , maybe be reboot PC to clear memory some times , it`s most likely EAC but Rebellion are not going to do any thing about it now the new game is out.

Rebelion makes corrections that don't help, I think they have poor specialists. Games cost a lot, so what do they pay them for???

The new Game SE Resistance imo is no more than a good DLC for SE5
Rebellion listens to the wrong people for input as to where the game is going which are those people that are on their Discord , the main concern for them is Console play as that`s where the big money is. Rebellion videos are made on console gaming , have they got any PC players at all ?.

Lag most of the time.

Bought the game yesterday. Had 5 crashes in 110mins getting to play the single player campaign. Disaster. Tried with/out cheat softw install, DX12/Vulcan.
Game files validated. When it crashes other apps (in background) are also gone.
I will now try solutions posted on Youtube and Reddit.

If you are on a Nvidia card / GPU i found the latest driver made SE5 controls go completely wrong i reverted back to an older driver and things are now ok with the occasional crash on start up , but it`s had that for ages , most likely EAC ?

I do have a RTX card but issues seem fixed following (most of) these guidelines

EDIT: Still a crash. Exception error (first registered error for me, earlier errors just crashed the game to a clean desktop). I wonder why this game can't be optimized by NVIDIA.

Yeh the youtube video is ok but a bit long winded for me as the guy contradicts his self in some settings , nvidia do and have made bad drivers , in the past SE3 & lots of other games crashed out and the driver had to be rolled back , but i never use that , i clean out all drivers with the DDU tool and theb do a clean install with no nvidia experience , then to get the full potential out of the GPU look at this , it is not over clocking btw .

EAC can shut the game down without error... there may be logs, dunno. It's been a thing ever since they added EAC after the game launched without it.

It is a good idea to backup[ your SE profile. It is located in the folder C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Sniper Elite 5\PC_ProfileSaves

There is a folder that is label by a list of numbers. Copy/zip this folder into a safe place. If this corrupted, you will loose your ranking. Backup esp if your game is crashing.
