Advice on Deluxe or Complete edition
I love SE4 and am buying SE5 in the Christmas sale. I'm not that interested in the weapon skins etc just all the missions/DLC's.

Does the Deluxe edition have all the missions/DLC? Thanks for any help offered to this old codger.....:steamhappy:

Deluxe include seasonpass 1
Complete edition include seasonpass 1&2

and my advice be...
get the Deluxe (include the reg 8 map's) + seasonpass 1
and then also buy seasonpass 2

in evry sales so far that been way cheaper..
then get the Complete version

Seasonpass 1
Mission 10 - Wolf Mountain DLC
Mission 11 - Landing force DLC
Mission 12 - Conquerer DLC

Seasonpass 2
Mission 13 - Rough Landing DLC
Mission 14 - Kraken Awakes DLC

and u need all 14 maps to complete Steam achivements... ;D

Thanks for the info and advice, its really helpful and it looks like the complete game in SE5 is the best value so Ill probably go for it. Yes I did really enjoy Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 it was my first ever game to play and I started gaming in my late 50's. I'm no music buff but the haunting music score in SGW3 was really memorable. I might have a look at SE3 on your recommendation. The reason I held back on buying SE5 was it has no authentic plus and that was a big draw back for me. Anyhow thanks for all your info its greatly appreciated:steamthumbsup:....
yw.. my pleasure... and

glad u discover the joy of gameing with a game like that then... :D

After having completed Sniper Elite 5 on Xbox Game pass soon as it was available there, I picked up the Deluxe edition on Steam a few days ago and couldn't be happier. A friend saw me play it and installed it from the game pass and played a bit with me. But even with randoms this game is pretty great. You get a lot of enjoyment out of this game even if there's a bit over a month I think til Resistance comes out? No regrets here.

That being said I have a few tips and tricks I learned from my many hours playing this game (on Xbox app and Steam) which ties in with the Deluxe question in a way. So not according to me but other sources, 150 hp weapon dmg will finish any non-heavy enemies with one shot which seems to hold true. So the K98 is a good weapon to grab (also very quiet with the right weapon mods), or the Winchester which is very high dmg. The latter comes with the Deluxe edition, no challenges needed to unlock.

Though I prefer the De Lisle carbine in campaign when solo for it's quietness, which also comes with the Deluxe version. Now others may disagree but I recommend starting with as many med-kits and bandages as possible in Survival, you'll find the rest on enemies and the like. Also here I recommend a semi-auto like the Gewehr 43, or again a hard hitting one like the K98. But that's me. This is more of a min-max way of playing, but I often switch it up to unlock Master rifle challenges.

Have a good day!
