I blamed the game pass for this. Of course the invaders would have a higher winning rate since there are a lot of casual players just trying out the game with a cheap monthly fee. These players sure would be easily killed before knowing what the invasion mode is!
I think perhaps the casual player issue can be fixed.
Not by turning of invasion mode by default cus it literally makes (for most players and in most cases) the game a better experience.
What I think should be done is a pop up window for first time players when they are launching the game with invasion mode unabled.
This window would explain what invasion mode is the basic premise of it.
And what the Invader has at their disposal.
This includes special ammo such as penetrating rounds.
If the game explains it without the player being able to skip the tutorial window (Right away at least) then the new casual players understand what they are up against while also giving those already playing invasion mode a fair fight.
Just becuase the win rate of invaders was very high doesn't mean they are OP or anything.
The only reason it is so high is becuase most players playing the campaign are people who just got the game on gamepass.
It is evident by how many people play Sharpshooter or below in difficulty.
In the about 300 invasions I have done I have maybe seen about 30 in total with Sniper Elite or Authentic Difficulty.
So what we need is a small tutorial pop up window for new players and the special ammo and grenades back into the invaders hands.
Apart from that after playing longer I think all the other changes are awesome for both sides.
The Allied player has Focus, The Invader has Stay Sharp as well as grenades and special ammo.
Of course depending on the Allied player they may or may not have a fully decked out arsenal of weapons.
Regardless I think this would give fair ground to both sides.
The Invader has a clear advantage when Karl is in trouble with the AI.
I have very rarely seen these advantages help Karl win.
More often my opponents win when they aim and shoot faster, are attentive when flashing the scope, sneak up very well, do not kill the AI completely or only when really necessary. So they are inconspicuous.
...in the good games
Unfortunately, there are far too many bad games. Rank 40 players/Run and Gun Rambos in the easy modes. Campers with mines everywhere. I've done that too, I have to be honest. But it gets boring so fast.
Side note- I once had a campaign player who also mined everything. But he was just good. He sneaked past all the enemies and placed mines on the most common paths. No camper.
For me it would be enough if I could exclude games. Exactly those rank 40 players in easy mode or coop games that are 90% just garbage.
With the Coop one could perhaps also rework and give the Invader a few advantages. With the phone and location for example.
I have another idea on balancing both sides. I think the dev should let the allied sniper be able to see the invader in the mini map, just like the other NPC soliders. Yep, I'm suggesting giving a buff to Karl, even though he is already kinda overpowered. I think why the casual players die a lot is because they depend on the mini map too much. If there is no triangle (or faint white circle) nearby in the mini map, they would consider it's safe. Difficulties higher than sharpshooter won't show locations of enemies in the mini map (or there is no mini map at all), so this would only give an advantage to beginners. I think the dev has missed a point here, the allied player is one vs many (NPC) so they should have an advantage on info (easier to spot the Jaeger).
On the other hand, the firepower on the invader side should be hugely buffed too. Give invaders back the 2 grenades, 2 mines, special ammo and 5 units of health (or even more). This would make the Jaeger sniper at least having some chance against an x-ray eyed, fully equipped allied sniper.
If it's possible, I also suggest adding an "anti-focus mode" for the invaders. Just like the focus mode on the allied sniper side, the invaders could "hold their breath" to make the allied sniper unable to see their silhouettes through the wall and invisible in the mini map. But just like Karl's focus mode, invaders can only walk slowly in the status. This let the invaders still have a chance to sneak up and kill, but it requires more skill and makes the "wall hack" less powerful.
I don't think these would be implemented in the future updates (there are too many critical bugs for the dev to handle first), but still wanna share my thought. Invasion is the only reason why I'm still playing this game, I hope the dev would listen to all the opinions and make this feature better in SE6.
as i sees it - it only be 2 spot where they be more or less un-reachable *if 100% just hideing
Landing force lighthouse tower,,, and
a smal house librateion mission map
but sure there other spot it be hard get to the campers...
but if they camp inside a building they get warned they get mark

feks. like this church
Rubble & Ruin there some spots i can trow nade up *get traps away stair *first
and fast climb latter if only stunned from nade
if they still camp hard they get tagged with-in 3 minuts
a 3th time and they lose match DIE... so
CAMP DEATH is still there for "Karl" as it for the Axis Invader
Else,,,
i wish more nerwbies would know about L-shift focus ability
(and please stop calling it wallhack) ;D
only direct annoying issue i got - is the use of mele, turning into a 50/50 bingo
alot of the times - but i'm kinda axept that ,,"that sync issue" just is what it is, and adept
or an over the top mined / boogytraps all over
where non alive and close no dead body's / trucks - to they re'load that SAVE so many times
and u even in a risk explode 1 step away your Spawnpoint ;D
As for ammo; I make do with 1 mine and 1 grenade and 25 rifle rounds. If the Karl puts some mines out, or a decoy, I can defuse and use them. But I rarely need more than what I drop in with. If you are running out of ammo as an invader, you need to modify your playing strategy.
Obviously just my 2 cents.
about use L-shift *focus ability - insted wait or even think they need use a phone....
i dont care about they have x5 focus - before i get to use Phone
unless it's a DUO and x10 -
compensate that with me be able to use PHONE and see

Yes, that is the magic solution for newbie Karls - unless you've played invasions you really don't know how fortunate Karls are to have all those juicy goodies at their disposal. Like any game, it takes practice to get good at what we have. I kill a lot of Karls who should have seen me waiting just around the corner but neglect to use their focus function.
And yes, more resources would be nice for the invader but I guess invaders do have other players to tag and invasions phones after 5 minutes and every 3 minutes thereafter, but I won't use them unless I really have to. Most Karls make their positions known well before that!!
very stealty - and i start tag axis soilders- and wait for phone -
insted waste time cat and mouse - atleast on the 2 darkest maps
and it be bit like, i rush game a bit more then i want to
because there so many get killed by me "axis friends" hehe
but overall it be some /many/ fun sessions - one way ot the other - so it oK ;D
