Missing Hitler

There are occasions when I complete Wolf Mountain and there is no Hitler anywhere. Not in the house, the tea house, the grounds, the outbuildings, the bathroom having a poop...so where is he? There's an indicator on the map showing where he should be, but...no Hitler.

Hitler might use a hide out, a tiny room backside the teahouse....
or ,, he migh hide he apartment top floor... hide out in a bunker facility there

and to be sure....
he there or not - u might ,, go MENY setting option sivilian (very easy)
if Hitler,,, there,,, u be see him marked and meters away

Backside of teahouse, he hides there frequently, yes. He's not missing Raventhorn, you are missing him.

I spent 2 hours looking around everywhere. Behind the tea house...every door. Nothing.

Still no fix. Happened to me once before, now that it happened again I tried switching to civilian, running through the entire level, every room, every side path, every edge, while constantly whistling or shooting and all I see is the "Find Hitler" area indicator. Everything on the level is dead, there was no area where it showed me distance to Hitler or anything on the minimap.

AH is there for most players. cant understand why he's missing for others. sometimes he's back of tea house in a small dark room, sometimes in Berghof upstairs apartment, sometimes back seat inside white car, sometimes behind tea house in lake area via a side track, sometimes above Berghof kitchen area (stairs) per this:

I've had AH disappear, too. I've checked all of his hideouts and the like. Nothin'. Just a bug they failed to squash.

Did a authentic run on the Wolfs Den last night, I started at the nearest spawn to the tea house and went straight there and waited a good 5-10 minutes and he never arrived even though the tea house is Hitlers first port of call on the map. So I restarted the level went back to the same spot near the tea house and this time his motorcade arrived within a minute or 2 of me arriving, so he either gets stuck somewhere in the level, his scripting bugs out or he just outright doesn't spawn sometimes?

I also did a run or 2 on cadet difficulty to get the more unique Hitler kills and to collect the last few documents and I'm sure he didn't spawn at all on one of those runs eg, I could see the 2 guards that are meant to escort him around the level permanently stood outside a empty room with no Hitler in sight, there had been no alerts that could have caused him to go hide somewhere etc...

I just installed this DLC yesterday and was unable to locate Hitler. I searched for FOUR HOURS and put it on easy and looked literally in every room, behind every bed and door, etc. I also searched the outdoors and all buildings using focus.

My hunch is this: I may have made him unconscious and stuck him in one of those hiding chests. I see one body in one of the chests using focus, but I can't get to it. I tried putting TNT next to it and blowing it up but that didn't work. That one body is unconscious and inaccessible. Oh well. I'm going to play the mission again but this time everyone dies, no more letting those poor German soldiers go back to their wives and kids. lol

Stupid me, I always thought AH was alerted and just left. After missing him I switched to killing him early and the problem went away.

I had something weird happen to an NPC on the first map that took me by surprise and I wonder if it might be the answer for your missing Hitler. I've had this happen to me many times as a gamer but I've never seen it happen to a NPC. The NPC fell through the map! LOL The game actually acknowledged it and made a sound that I took as a termination for the NPC. Maybe they thought that was easier than checking for small holes.

Happened last night. Wanted to complete Wolf Mountain but could not find Hitler after the firefighting was over. Checked the tea house 3 times, checked inside the manor 4 times including the basement and his personal hideout, combed over the outside of the manor 3 times and even went far back to where he has that little spot to take a boat ride. Wasn't there. I had saved the progress and had completely forgot about it until I saw this thread.

This is happened on two other recent occasions when playing through the same map.

IF it is the "NPC falling through the map" problem - the longer Hitler is allowed to wander the more likely he will come across the hole in the map. You might try getting to earlier interception points as quickly as possible. The reason is to get to the NPC before it has the chance to fall through the map.

If there is a bug that prevents instantiation of the Hitler NPC, you might try shutting down the game and rebooting to clean everything up and run a fresh game. Sometimes errors become more common the longer a game runs because of memory management problems within the executable. I have had games I would restart every couple hours if not rebooting and it did seem to help. I have no idea if that is the case here though. I run a memory cleaner from ioBit software to help keep my RAM cleaned up while gaming.

Perhaps they don't instantiate Hitler until the player reaches certain 'trip wires'. If so it may be the one you have been 'tripping' has a bug. So you might try a completely different approach to what you have done in the past. I'm just speculating though.

Another thing to try is just a complete Restart of that particular level / map. Then try the different approach. Just to have as clean a retry as possible. These are just guesstimates to try and help. I don't know that any of it will help.

Yeah I miss him too sometimes. hero that guy was, he killed that guy to end WW2.

I don't recall Hitler being personally responsible for anyone's death, especially a war-ending one, and the way I remember it, the war ended in Berlin, and there are no Berlin missions in this game.
