whats up with all these dudes playing like its third person Call of Duty?
there are literally people who i have played with several times who absolutely refuse to use the sniper as anything other than a stick with a knife attached to it

kinda ruins the whole sniper vs sniper experience imo

totally agree! rebellion ruined the game with first view on secondary weapon in addition to scope and endless run. There's no stealth and no distance challenge anymore. In the 5th maps are smaller than the 3th and 4th, only one is flooded village and no one want to play it. I wonder why most of players came back to 4th.

The game focusing on medium/close range stealth makes the game a lot of fun to play, the sniping is still possible, it's just not the primary focus.

stealth? sorry frend im talking about Multiplayer. the CoD players arent using stealth
they sprint over the map spamming nades and spraying their smg's hoping the lag will give them easy kills, youll see them from across the map, youll hear them coming close, their exact position shown on your minimap

Because It's a sniper game not a close quarter combat, the real objective of this game should be "stealth and distance kill by rifle" instead of "close quarter combat with submachine gun". Don't you think so? If I wanted to play a close quarter combat I would buy CoD that is better like gameplay than this one on close quarter combat.

I know I'm a Canadian Veteran, but the thing is your playing a WW2 game not Modern warfare, big difference in the weapons and their capabilities.

in ww1 they already had snipers capable of killing over 1km, ww1 longest sniper kill is even farther than the ww2 one, 1250m vs 1100m (googled it didnt check further)
in fact...the sniper with the longest effective range is the m1903, the ww1 sniper (in SE5 i mean) so the differences in capabilities dont really matter for the sake of his argument


but yeah i dont think ww2 snipers would run around in open fields with their machine guns out blasting at everything that moves, pretty sure snipers in ww2 would find an advantageous spot and use their sniper...right? as a canadian veteran surely youre aware of how a sniper would fullfill his function, and its not running towards the enemy guns blazing...right? modern warfare, ww2, in either cases id assume this to be true
