They're profiles connect to Rebellions game, but are NOT STEAM BASED PROFILES. They are XBOX or PlayStation accounts. When I report them in-game, I cannot do more than report they used a cheat/exploit, and state, in one line, what that violation was.
Because Steam does not connect to XBOX or PlayStation networks, I cannot select their profile. I cannot add an unlisted video link. I cannot attach an image. This is a major downside of Rebellion attempting to create a cross-platform game.
The only other possible way I could report this to Rebellion, in a way that might cause them to take action, would be to submit the violation report via email.
Unfortunately, I've been informed, by Rebellion, in an email about the player who ultimately inspired me to expose these cheaters with video evidence, that they will not accept video/image files larger than 10 MB.....Totally useless since an HD video clip catching a violation from start to finish, and lasting only 30 seconds, usually takes up around 35 MB.
So forgive me if I don't feel a need to leave these videos in my library, "unlisted" indefinitely. I'd rather other people know these guys are hacking, and start kicking them from games, or stop playing with them altogether.
Also, I find it insulting for you to talk about AP rounds. I know about them, and how they work. That was clearly not what took place in the video. Moreover, if you care to examine the timer on the match, you will note that not enough time has passed for more than one supply drop, at most, to have occurred. Guess which team got all the supplies from that drop? Mine. So no way in hell did he have AP ammo.
Quit trying to make excuses for the cheaters. They make enough for themselves.
The absence of Private Dedicated servers was wrong and many PC Players who have played the series since SE2 with Dedicated servers no longer play this game, host you own MP games and block the dudes on your videos, this game is Console based as that is where the big money is Rebellions demo games by their staff on you tube play on consoles , their absence from these forums shows what they are , all they are interested in is the people who hang about on their Discord channel, some of which are just creeps who got the game free ,
BTW the players who had dedicated servers for se2, se3, se4 had their own guys {one in particular ) who even made ad on programs for the Recon server admin and a new Recon server for SE4 when Rebellion did not fix their version, there are just 13 SE4 servers left know some not worth playing as they are chinese based.
Was does reporting a player actually do ! no one really knows ?
In my opinion Rebellion cannot ban a console player as you say they have no steam profile, PC players with the MP hack well they could game ban them with the right evidence / videos
? i have not looked for quite a while are they any Rebellion Dedicated servers running , there used to be
As you said, Rebellion, like every other developer, has shifted focus to keep console players. Lately, even if you follow exact formatting for reporting, even if you present evidence, many of the PC players I know feel their reports are largely being ignored.
And I don't doubt it. Many of the players we PC gamers catch on video are part of larger clans, whose members are largely known to use cheats in one form or another--some have even admitted to it. If Rebellion, and other game developers, started banning them for cheating, they'd have to ban whole clans, which would cut into their profit margin.
Frankly, I don't believe they care about giving a quality gaming experience anymore. I think they're focused on keeping as large a market-share of players as they can, even if it means ignoring their PC community.
I just play Invasion now as the Axis Sniper the one who invades ,
At this point, they may even have shut that one down, as they've been using the dedicated servers to test other games they're developing.
