At the very least, every campaign mission should have had a Survival map based off of it. That mode is the only mode my friends and I enjoy, and it's really weak how it seems like an afterthought to keep adding to it.
A paltry 3 maps at launch and only 2 new ones over the course of an entire year = 👎
I would like one or two more maps but I also don't want to see a bunch of maps that feel unpolished and thrown together and either too easy or too annoying to play.
I agree on all points although each map can still have its share of bugs.
We've had vehicles and soldiers get stuck behind buildings, and another occurrence when our enemy count is 10-15 left yet no more enemies are anywhere on the map on Amongst the Rubble, and tanks get frozen out of bounds on Prime Real Estate and Unwanted Guest to a point where if we don't have flares, we're done and can't continue.
Still, it's a woefully overlooked mode by Rebellion, and I see no reason why they couldn't add at least two more maps based on Secret Weapons and War Factory.
Who knows, maybe they'll surprise us with the final update for the current season.
Secret Weapons would make for a good outdoors forest map but I wouldn't want it to be a night map, it's just too annoying because the AI would still be able to see everything but players' vision would be limited. If they wanted they could make it an option where you could choose day, night, rainy/dry weather etc. War Factory is my least favorite campaign map in the game, maybe it would be ok in the central area but otherwise it's pretty meh.
Tide of War is the second best map, after Unwanted Guests. Pest Control is too easy and simplistic, and Prime Real Estate is too easy as well if you know how to snipe.
