You clearly do not know about the series.......
Japan held a LOT of remote island chains in the pacific, and heavily fortified them expecting the US to attack them directly. Instead the US just bypassed a lot of them, cutting them off from Japanese supply lines and leaving them to rot. Maybe the OSS parachuted Karl onto one of these island chains to weaken the local forces and find evidence of secret Nazi-Japanese technological sharing, like V3 tactical nukes launched from volcanos.
Of course this is all assuming that Rebellion would have the stones to portray the Japanese as the bad guys. They touched on it a bit in SE5.
Yes and it is history!!!
The most wanted mission for a japan setting would be to infiltrate a docked aircraft carrier and take it out with tnt from inside usually thats not common for snipers but in ww2 the snipers were also being used for demolition jobs and espionage quite alot.
You dont need smoke bombs, japan is also using smoke grenades, the only thing possible would be the Shin-guntō or some sort of familiy relict katana to replace the default knife animations some sort of special unlock thats interesting, also type99 sniper rifles we already have the type100 and nambu but all of this should actually belong to the pacific theatre, but forget about the ninja stuff thats not needed and we will play an allied sniper for sure just please not fairbourne again... what i disliked about sniper elite 5 the most was the fact they removed s-mines and tripwire mines i have no idea why they did that especially with all these vehicle patrols coming trough s mines would have been helpful for soldiers while tellermines could be used entirely for vehicles.
Yeah I agree that would be fun!
Well sure you have a strong opinion how the next Sniper elite game should be made.
and it is great ideas... but do you really need to hijack my comment and defame the post twice ?!!. Your comment can stand on its own without having a support quote to stand on.
