PVP population

I ended up playing pvp more than the campaign in SE4. I am well versed in "dead" mlutiplayer games but it seemed like there were literally like 3-12 people online worldwide or something. Is it the same for this game? maybe they're all camping a bush somewhere?

Every game under the sun has a popularity curve. This one is no different. Play it if you want to while it's fresh. When the popularity drops or another game becomes more popular then you'll be on the downside of the curve, like any other game.

It could be the time of day you play, SE4 has about 20 Dedicated servers left but most are unpopulated, to see the servers without being in the game go to top left of steam page , View \ Servers then at the bottom of that dialog box set the filter to Sniper Elite 4 .
There are a lot more playing SE5 PVP

There`s 3 Chinese or in that area Dedicated servers , but any how i guess at peak times there`s no more 40 / 80 players world wide, TDM seems to be the most popular.

Dunno bout you but I and loads of mates still play "Marina! on SE4 every weekend run & gun best map and still going strong come and join us!!

i use this name "Mike the Bike" mate were there every sat sun about 2pm add me and your welcome, one thing mate i dont allow people with private profiles to play on any game i create sorry . . . . to many cheaters around everyone has open profiles that show hours played and levels etc . . .

Never seen you on and I play every weekend, have over 4600 hours. I play a whole lot of Marina and never once seen your name. You must play private games or invitation only. Also, my profile is not private, but I set friends only level for viewing. If you can't see my stuff it's because you and I are not friends on Steam. But no one sets my rules but me, happy hunting in your games.

Well thats a mystery to me mate coz im on more or less every weekend with people all over the world games are public, we have players who regularly play and Ive been playing Marina since the game came out as its by far the best map

Im not "setting your rules" im merely telling you that I and loads of other players play Marina exclusively every weekend have done since the game was released. I use the same name that you can see here my games are not private nor invitation only

I reinstalled 4 and tried a few times, couldn't find anyone online at all in quick play any or match browser. I'll try again this weekend but I think it's clear people have in general moved on to this game

Nah not defensive even if it came off that way. Just curious is all, that we have not crossed paths. I assume you mean survival mode? Can you clarify what mode you are playing, and if it is a pvp game. I play mostly survival, although I very frequently re-do several missions that I enjoy. I do not play on any pvp server and maybe that's why I never see you. I see many people in the survival marina and dockyard and urban and winter market but just haven't seen your name. I'll accept your invite and see if we can catch up in a game or two. Perhaps we'll get along better in the game than on the forum here, lol. Also, I've done the whole clan thing, and don't enjoy that whole military style grouping of players.

Hi goonsh, it depends on what mode you are talking about. On EST, in the evenings between 7 and midnight there are usually games running in coop survival. On the weekends there are usually more. Some OW and missions too. I don't play the pvp servers, but there are very few of those that are seeing action these days. Some but not much. Many people play both games, you don't have to choose to play one or the other, they are not mutually exclusive.

Ah thats where were getting confused I play MP on Marina but i have played lots of suevival facility & winter mkt are my faves !!
