Tips on Survival mode?

Survival mode seems kinda impossible. Any advice? Is it just a matter of memorizing the trap placements that work, or is there a way to be effective at close quarters once the enemies are in your base? I always either lose my base or bleed out while I'm waiting for an smg to reload. TIA!

If you play often enough you'll learn where the AI tends to spawn. One of the worst things you can do is walk into a spawn area and get instantly surrounded by 10 soldiers who instantly cut you down. Best thing to do is have as much space and height drop between you and the enemy. If you are far enough away then normal smg and rifle soldiers won't be able to shoot at you, except for spotters and snipers.

Put lots of traps everywhere, especially narrow stairs and doorways where you know the AI tends to come through. If there are dead bodies there, put grenade or TNT traps on them.

Always kill snipers ASAP or they will just lock you down and endlessly kill you.

Learn how to kill scout cars and tanks quickly. You don't want them roaming around when you need to be focused on killing soldiers.

Save AP shot for scout cars and tanks and trucks. If you see a troop truck shoot it in the engine a few times with AP shot and it will blow up and get you a bunch of kills.

Save soft-point bullets for when there are a lot of jager troops (the guys with camo). They take more shots to kill, and with soft-point bullets they'll go down in 1 or 2 hits instead of 2 to 3.

Keep an eye on the command point, but you'll usually have better sniping opportunities away from it. Put lots of traps around it. Camp there with an SMG if you want especially if there aren't many soldiers left.

If you are in a sniping nest, always put a trap on any entrances to it so nobody sneaks up on you.

A couple other tips...if you see a lot of dead enemy soldiers in certain areas, you know that that is a path they tend to take, and they'll come through there again in another wave. Put some mines or bomb traps there.

If you are on hard or lower difficulty, remember that you can use sniper sense or whatever it's called, and see any enemies through the walls around you. It can be really helpful when you're camping out and don't want to get surrounded.

When you get the Red Triangle shape near you that`s when the Ai have triangulated you * found your exact position * there is a warning before that with the Orange Triangle,
Karl says " I`ll have to go " quickly put mines & tnt around the Red triangle then relocate 20 meters is enough, the game has all ways been about relocation , camp in the base and your doomed.

Turn off Bullet/ Kill camera/ Melee or Explosion Kills cause they will interrupt your gameplay within which you
can get killed by the Enemy.

Each character has their own custom dialogues
I choose the french woman cause of her accent

Tips:

Before starting
check camp locations on map before starting to plan where to plant explosives
before each stage,
Notice some Camps are close to each other and therefore the map routes will coincide and hence you
can plant explosives and traps for 3rd or 4th Stages on the first or 2nd stages to save yourself some time.


Reload whenever you Can


Check my gameplays to
prelocate yourself on maps near locations
where the enemies Spawn or come from, this way you get more headshots in one go and additional points on 3 consecutive kills within a time span

LOOT LOOT LOOT
as much as you can whenever you can and the moment your iniventory is full use the traps you are carrying
Tellermine and schumine are the best

if youe nventory is full, place the traps and get back to looting whenever you find time,
the best way to find time to loot is to disable an armoured truck or keep a sniper alive or someone incapitated while you loot the whole dead enemies

once you kill everyone the next wave will start in no time.
plant explosives in locations close to spawn for the next wave before the current wave ends

Armoured trucks:
note which round they spawn and where from..
always disable them out of range from ur camping locations..
so when they are disabled they cant fire u..
use teller mines and tnt combos to disable them, or just teller mines (heave vehicle setting)
to disable them but the best way to score high points is to hit them with armour piercing bullets in vulnerable locations


never use panzer faust to en a kill but onnly to disable a vehicle


snipers will hit you from places impossible to see, so make sure to take them down asap and heal using bandages once u ustart bleeding from their special bullets

Choose camping spots:
as per where they spawn from tips being:
spawn locations should be in front of ur camping space


Traps:
always boobytrap all entry points to ur base atleast 2 in the path to your camp s when you are busy fightiing elsewhere they cant capture it

How to score High points for the Survivor Gold Medals for each stage:

Rifle accuracy streak is super helpful if you get multiple kills say 3 kills with 3 consecutive bullets

Always
head shot or eye shot if possible
heart shot is also high
longer distance means higher point
iron signs unassisted kills are the best and more points, use Gewehr from the enemies you kill

Try not to use the MG too much, since less point, trap kills are also les point except for multi kills
Panzer kills are also less

Kill the spotters (with star on their head ) ASAP, airsupport will kill you faster

melee kill is less points

the most dangerous gun is the Flare gun, seconded by MG

CHECK UR MAP AND PLACE MNINES FOR NEXT ROUND

For extra points
1)Don't get incapitated, check your health at all times and heal in covers
2) Don't let them infiltrate the camp


Always be on the move once detected and kill enemies from behind or side flanks

When this red triangle symbol appears, same time there is a hologram of my charakter.
I find that somewhat confusing. Can I turn it off? Or change it to transparency?
