Cutscenes only show one character?

I'm playing through again on harder difficulty and I chose a girl this time to play as. But when cutscenes come up it's always the same guy. Really hate this as it makes the choice of a different character rather stupid.

Any thoughts?

LOl yeah if you play Coop only one leaves. But the whole game is not very accurate. Treat the Game as Arcade, even on Authentic. Sadly a lot of points are not fixed. The biggest problem, is game has gone more PvP, yes you do have Campaigns, but not exactly mind boggling, though excellent Graphics. A Massive shortage of Weapon setup, and Equipment.
Even characters IF they talk have little to say Except Harry my Fav (love the Banter).
Now Game is set 1944, your Startup loadout is a Joke, you have to play whole Campaign to get equipment. So from afresh no real "how I wanna play" you are limited, also down to small Maps. I have tried all ways, always play Authentic, if solo in no hurry, yes Bugs will more likely get you killed, also I never play the kiddie PvP games. One Bug Bear especially when I play Coop are the Cut Scenes. Rebellion seems incapable of putting a Disable in!!. You are just creeping in stealth, when your Partner has done a part which triggers a cut scene pops up!! Still glad you are going on harder difficulty, too many are Gun-Ho

I did forget to mention I'm doing campaign. And It's funnier at start of mission where Marie is there and I'm there as Marie, but the back and forth between the two is cutscene Marie and the guy. I like this game, that's why I"m playing through again, but agree it is more or less a kiddie s%&t show

What you describe about the cut scenes is true, and it would be nice if it were more like Far Cry 6 where there are separate male and female cut scenes... it no doubt was a budget thing when they were making the game... but is it really that big a deal in the scheme of things in terms of game play?

Pre-rendered cutscenes I guess, or pre-scripted cutscenes that didn't bother to include the potential logic for showing more than the main character.

No not at all. But you hit the nail dead on... it most likely was a budget thing, like the rest of the game. I don't mind it at all, just funny to see it.
