SE4 Dedicated server go to top of steam page / view / servers / set the filter at the bottom to Sniper Elite 4, there`s about 20 left some are never populated

This is the last I heard of it, prerelease. Working on it over the next few weeks :)
Using PW protection on a dedicated server solves this. Didn't that exist in SE4 servers? I use PW protection on my own dedicated servers for other games, no problems arise.
Depends on the game, the resources swapped between players and your internet connection. Refreshing HD isn't the issue as I suspect local maps are used, but keeping up with multiple people on all different connections instantly is very difficult. This is all in real time and while some stuff is processed client-side, the rest is done on player's machines and having a dedicated server likely wouldn't alter this aspect of it. And as for servers costing nothing, people are mistaken if they think someone can just host a huge number of players on a simple Windows machine and have it all connected by a big fat data pipe for zero cost - someone has to pay for it.
