I have way more fun playing this game with a controller than M&K

Mouse and keyboard just makes the game too easy, especially with how accurate the weapons are in this game compared to older games in the series. WIth a mouse and keyboard it's way too easy to turn a pistol into some kind of DMR monstrosity and snipe everyone in the head at close range in rapid succession before moving on. Pretty hard to do this with a controller.

It feels like I have to engage with the games mechanics a lot more when every encounter isn't such a one dimensional sure bet, leading enemies away with bottles, luring enemies to downed enemies, being more strategic with where I go, which targets I engage with, etc.
