Bug - No Audio In Campaign Mode

I'm sure someone has brought this up as I found it on reddit, but I was having the same issue. I have audio up until campaign mode, and then everything cuts out, not just the audio from the game but my background music as well. If I hit back/escape it'll come on, but nothing as soon as I hit campaign. It was driving me nuts!

If you are having the same issue, turn off "Allow Axis Invasion" I found this fix by accident.

I don't know why this works, but it does. Audio is back on for me.

In campaign mode, if I move during any audio voice, it gets cut off. Audio is still working, but if I want to hear the whole dialog, I have to freeze.

Verify game files. I have no such issues, although I had to verify to fix evaporating bolt cutters issue.

Are the audio issues mentioned being experienced via speakers or through headsets?

I have noticed one problem in campaign play, though: Sometimes the audio cuts out during cut scenes, like when Karl has just completed the Secret Weapons mission, and the phone rings just as he's about to take off. Moeller says something like, "Who is that? Who is that talking?" expecting some guy named Klemt to answer, and Karl says something sarcastic, but you can't hear what Moeller says in response.
