I wrote about that many times (done some testing with some ppl on reddit with different GPUs), but devs are not answering.
Set it on High and it will go about 9-9.5GB on 3080 1440p (if you are playing 1440p). Still a lot, but playable and without constant crashes or freezes.
Check my older posts about that issue.
Thank you for the information.
The Sniper elite 5 should replace the 3D Mark in the future.
Give it a time. We tested on 3060 too, it takes all 12 GB and crashes on dx12 or stutter on Vulkan.
I remember a case where the graphics card burned out while playing a game. The impression is New World.
Denuvo has nothing to do with VRAM.
So hopefully Rebellion can maintain this level.
But the stability of the game is very poor, and the update method is also very clumsy, which must be improved in the future.
In terms of game content, I was pleasantly surprised by the second campaign of season pass 2, which is what SE should have. Hope to keep it up. Also looking forward to the snow scene.
