I think this game is super fun! runs smooth as butter everything on ultra settings, perfect match to an UW monitor, great sound.
Yes there are few bugs here and there and a black female talking with Scottish accent but I'm sure they will fix the bugs and learn a lesson for the next time, we want historical game not politically correct game.

Well let's not go metal gear solid levels of historical fiction. A little grounded-ness feels due, setting-wise. Sure, gameplay-wise it ain't gonna be realistic, you can't heal bullet wounds with bandages and health packs, etc...but it's good to keep it grounded

yeah but tbh theres a clear difference between fantasy around ww2 and obvious neomarxist influences from current politics being shoehorned into games. like putting black characters into the game in very odd ahistorical contexts (i.e. a black scottish woman... like why..? when i think of scottish people, the last thing i think about is a black woman. thatd be like having a white senegalese soldier fighting with colonial units in ww1)

theres only reason why they do stuff like that. leftists can be sneaky and pretend to not understand what were talking about, but people notice patterns like that even if u tell them theres nothing there.

The black Scottish (S.O.E.?) female operative instantly killed this game for me - almost as soon as I had begun. I dunno - I guess Rebellion are free to jump down the diversity and inclusion rabbit hole; it's their IP, and they can do what they want. But it does kill immersion, any pretence of authenticity, and - for me - it's the end of the game. I can't sign up for such a blatant disregard for historical accuracy, let alone disregard for player expectations in this IP.

Can't we just have a reasonably believable, historically (somewhat accurate) setting, populated by reasonably believable, somewhat historically accurate characters? I don't care if they are black or white, male or female (or anything else) if their being there sits well within the context. 'Blue Viper' did not, thus (for me) the whole game came crashing down around her crowbarred-in inclusion.

Luckily, I was playing this on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I had been thinking about purchasing all the DLC (as I had done for S4 and S3 - I'm a sucker for having 'the complete edition'). Not now. Another much-loved franchise bites the woke bullet.

To be honest I did resist in getting this game as SE4 was just so good, I still play Marina with a load of mates for MP you cant beat it.
The game is fine but what really stands out is the invasion mode, Ive taken to playing on authentic that really changes it up a gear.

the GPU failed coz of dust build up I put in an AMD RX 560 and im still getting great FPS (in the 50/60s)
I will upgrade the GPU to an AMD RX 580 this year

Ive had loads of fun on Invasion racked up over 250 kills as thew allied sniper and over 140 as an invader and still going strong, I play on the weekend and some weekdays for over 8 hours + p[er session
Just sick of all the console people rushing around like headless chickens with no idea how to play but i can put up with that as now and then you do get some good players

PC gender crap cant be doing with it its a game folks just have fun sure there are some little things that annoy me but nothing is perfect

People would bless live with it, will stay that way, as long as people buy this they will laugh at you. I don't even buy a 35 euro season pass, Sniper ELite 5 was given as a gift by a viewer, I didn't spend 60 euro/dollar myself.

Hate is in many games IDD, you will have to live with it

I have a 1000 hours in-game and 3600 invasion kills. I got my money's worth. I think it's a fine but buggy game, which they may or may not sort out. The best thing they can do is drop the useless Easy AntiCheat nonsense - that crashes my game more than anything and I'd just put up with the handful of cheaters I've encountered over the past few months. Bottom line, if someone doesn't like it, don't bloody play it, suck it up and move on.

I refunded because in my first mission I had a dude teleport-knife-kill me in an open field. I'm not putting up with that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a mostly singleplayer game. And I'm not turning off half the game features because it's a buggy hacked mess using EAC. As it is, SE4 was a superior game in every way. I was holding out some hope that they'd fix it but that does not appear to remotely be the case.

Agree with this. Love these games, but I find myself skipping the clips or just tuning out when this character is on screen. It's jarring and immersion breaking.

I don't care if you can conjure up 2-3 french/scottish black (lesbian) women historically, it's still annoying as heck. It doesn't add anything meaningful to the story other than being the standard diverse tokenization for "modern audiences".

I love the game, it's fun as hell!, I don't worry about bugs, I ignore them. I've replayed the game a lot. Different guns, stealth. I've got the quiet's load-out in the game, I'm a Ghost, big time. :-).

At least you get to kill communists in the second one. I somewhat agree. Communism always seem to get a pass although their atrocities were nearly as bad as the nazis(read the Gulag Archipelago). For some reason the ideology avoids scrutiny even though it always leads to mass murder, evident by history. Killing nazis is always fun though ;)

Sniper 4 is way superior better graphics don't always make a better game and now coloured skins for guns this ain't Fortnite lol...
