Any visual difference between DX12 and Vulkan?

As the title asks. I have read that DX12 can run a little better, but so far that's the only practical difference I've heard of.

I haven't noticed a quality difference in any respect, but having to quit the game to change this, it's hard to get a good comparison.

I can't speak to a noticeable visual change, however, when I started with DX12, I kept getting long like full minute freezes while my computer worked to figure itself out. Switching to Vulkan has improved this to some degree. I was hoping to see more people discussing the differences and what was working better.

I found Vulkan better in terms of performance and no real apparent differences in visual quality. For some reason most new games that runs DX-12 for me perform absolute garbage, with my GPU overheating (i think it may be due to lack of frame limiter but I have my doubts). bear in mind i'm using a 2080 super and get solid frames on any graphical setting, but due to the GPU working over the top regardless of setting for DX-12 I always end up getting temp bottlenecks.

If one of them looked different, it'd be a bad API implementation, they are meant to look the same.

They may perform differently based on your hardware/system configuration but they certainly will look the same unless something is horribly wrong.
Also in most cases performance difference will be within margin of error, at least until they add a benchmark option like in prior SE games.

On average Vulkan performs marginally better for me on my RTX 3080 at 4K. People have also said Vulkan is much more stable, I have played using Vulkan throughout and have not had a single crash.

I've tried both. I haven't noticed any visual differences. Vulkan seems to provide a small but significant increase in frame rate over DX12, at least on my 3090 playing at 1440P.
