Majority of people don't care that's the difference.
There's almost 65,000 games on steam.. you're going to play SE5 for a few months at best.. and move on to something else.
1% of 3 million is 30,000 people. There's definitely a lot more people who hate Denuvo but let's downplay it for the sake of fun.
Let's say $20 is the median take off each sale. 30,000 * 20 = 600,000. $600,000 lost according to your own number. Now compound that across sales lost for the same reason in Sniper Elite 4, Sniper Elite 5 and Zombie Army 4 and it's a hell of a lot more.
They're not lost sales if those were people who never intended to buy said game because they're waiting for a cracked version. You can't define how many of those people in your percentile actually customers in the first place.
Also wrong. Most new game don’t have denuvo especially the good ones like elden ring and most other games as well
They probably think that even if they use Denuvo the sale numbers will be very solid for their franchises. And well, they are solid enough to keep guaranteeing sequels and DLCs.
Not all but the majority of gamers do buy games with denuvo as well.
Now, don't get me wrong, I DO believe Denuvo is useless and should be removed from all games, but if it's in a game... well dam it, I'll still play.
You keep saying that "all the new games use Denuvo" but that's not true. Denuvo is in decline and for good reason. It has a bad reputation. Most games don't use Denuvo and of the games that do, the overwhelming majority of them remove it after a period of time. I'm on record saying that I would have bought the game with Denuvo if I had any reason to believe that it'd be removed eventually. They have not given me any reason to believe them so they're not getting my money until it's on sale for what I'm willing to lose because I most likely will lose access to my purchase one day thanks to this crapware.
You keep thinking this matters.. it really doesn't. You have the choice of either buying it or not. or just playing it on gamepass and forgetting it until it's $20 on steam.
I never get anyone fighting over older enabled denuvo games. They played their games, and moved on. In fact I know of one SE fan who's spent tens of thousands of hours on these games.. doesn't give one ♥♥♥♥ it has denuvo or not.
