Why is this $50 on Steam but $60 on Consoles?

Is there a short sale before the game drops and becomes $60 on Steam or what?

PC should always technically be cheaper than console, as console makers charge a license fee for being allowed on their console ecosystem. If its not cheaper than, its PC being forced into price parity for the sake of greed/regional gouging/retail-digital price parity etc

So the price won't increase to $60 when it drops or anything its just $60 on Console because of the license fee?

ALSO Sniper Elite 4 is $60 but 5 is $50?

Given it's all 1s and 0s on Steam (no physical copies), by all rights, all multi-platform games should be ~50% cheaper on PC.

Well no I can and will buy Sniper Elite 5 on PC but I'm just confused for Console having it be $60 and Sniper Elite 4 being $10 more than 5 rn
