Are my specs good enough for this game?
i want to pre order but im unsure about the specs...

Intel Core i7-8700
16GB RAM
GTX 1080 (8GB) (not the TI version)

Playing on 2560x1440 WQHD (144hz)

i think my pc is about 2 - 3 years old by now. SE4 was running fine on high settings (not ultra). Ultra would kill my pc because the motherboard is pretty cheap.

What i noticed now is that the minimum system requirements of sniper elite 5 is the recomrned requirements of Sniper elite 4. Since many of us now has upgraded their pc and we have a much better pc than what we had in 2017 when 4 released this mean that on max settings 1440p that i will play it i will have much better graphics than 4 like all the games do due to my much better pc that i have now than then.

You're talking about RAM,this is different thing from VRAM.There are no games that use over 5-6gb video memory.
Depends on what resolution you play
I'm talking about common res i.e. 1080p.There's no real reason to play in higher res.Modern games run like ♥♥♥♥ on high end GPUs in higher than 1080p/1440p res

Sniper Elite 5 will use the Asura Engine as 4th which is confirmed by the devs. The game will be very well optimized and will run smoothly even on low end PC's. DX 12 is recommended to use because it boosts performance.
I doubt it could run on any low end pc. It's like me playing this on GTX 1050.
1050 was always a high low end card.1060 isn't a low end card.Even the 3gb one. This game isn't an AAA title with over the top graphics so there's no reason for it to run like ♥♥♥♥ on a 1060.60fps o medium-high settings 1080p is what to expect
i have the nasa computer will i be able to play this game?
i have a quantum computer, will i be able to play this game?
I have no computer, will i be able to play?
In reply to the last 3 posters
Yes
Yes
No
Intel i9- 15900k
RTX 5090 Ti 32gb Ultra OC Edition
64GB Ram 8666Mhz (With RGB for extra fps)

Is it good enough?
What I don't understand is why Rebellion haven't posted their recommended specs yet, we are less than two weeks away from launch.

8 gb is not enough for max settings in some games. I see it with my RX 6700XT as there are games that uses 9o r 11 gb already.
Halo infintiei maxed 1440p evrything uses 9 gb
Resident evil village maxed annd with ray tracing 1440p uses 11 gb
Red dead redemption 2 also uses 11 gb maxed 1440p.
Doom eternal maxed 1440p more than 8 gb too. You need to upgrade for ray tracing because it makes graphics much better Get a RX 6700XT or better or wait few months for RX 4000 and RX 7000 release and get then a RX 7700XT or RTX 4070.

Iam talking about vram. Here see

with evrything maxed 1440p Halo infintiie it used 9 GB VRAM not ram i have 16 GB 3200MHZ.

ok...So where does it say 9gb?All I see is a 2 min gameplay video.I don't believe such game can use 9gb
Ghost wire tokyo however does with evrything maxed and maxed ray tracing and FSR

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebq3JRSadMk&t=23s

BUT that because it is a game made for high end pcs

again, you didn't show VRAM usage. And no this game wasn't made for high end PCs:

It does have serious problems with frame pacing, but generally runs not too bad
