Game locks up after 9 holes.

The first time I played I played 9 holes on a random course and it was fine. Without changing any settings the next 4 times I played as soon as the final disk on the 9th hole goes in the basket, the game locks up entirely and needs an alt+ctrl+del and end task to get out of it. The last time it was on the screen where it displayed the hole result (in my case double bogey).

I can't find any debug files with the game so not sure how to begin to figure out what is going on. Any thoughts?

Someone else reported this so I have looked into it but couldnt replicate it. couple questions that may help me track it down:

playing on linux or windows?
is the game windowed or fullscreen?
is the game just unresponsive or does it fully freeze? can you still hear sounds and see movement or not basically

Oh one more thing that would help me pinpoint when it is happening. When you boot the game back up did it give you gold for the round? And did it record your stats for the round under the statistics tab in the main menu?
