Honestly only got this game for Astolfo but its a banger

If you're a fan of the Fate series or musou (Dynasty Warriors style) games, you'll probably have a good time with Fate/EXTELLA LINK. If you're a fan of both, stop reading this and just buy the game already.

I really enjoyed my time with this one, I feel like they got the difficulty juuuust right. It keeps you on your toes flying all over the place to accomplish your objectives, while never feeling frustrating or unfair. Obliterating an entire squadron of evil robots with your favorite servant's noble phantasm always puts a big smile on my face.

The gameplay is almost identical to the first Fate/EXTELLA game for the most part. There are a few nice additions to the combat, more servants to play as, and a few other nice quality of life changes.

This one is much lighter on the "visual novel" aspect than the first one though. The story is much simpler and straightforward, if you've ever played one single event in Fate/GO then you will be able to see where this story is going almost immediately. The bond "events" are essentially removed, you just get a couple lines of dialogue every 5-6 bond levels. So if you really enjoyed that part of this first game, you might be a bit disappointed here. But if you thought it was too wordy, you'll probably like this one a lot better.
