Does pilgramage increase the amount of gauntlets and rewards?
Does Pilgrimage increase the sapwn rate of chest, gauntlets, and glory zones or does it just increase the length of deadzones full of enemies?

I'm fairly sure it only increases the length of the stage, no additional chests or anything like that, but hopefully someone who knows for certain can confirm. There's actually another thing I've wondered, does the entropy condition that adds a timer scale with pilgrimage, or is running those two together just handicapping yourself (since pilgrimage doesn't contribute to entropy count for the sake of titan shards)?

Technically you get *slightly* more chests with Pilgrimage, but it's such an insignificant amount (and I believe it only increases the appearance rate of small chests, which typically just have 1-2 pickups in them and that's it - the rest just have a set amount of how many times they appear per level)

Not sure about the Imminent Rapture/Pilgrimage combo, though. I want to say it takes into account how many chunks are in a stage (and how big they are) when determining the timer, but I don't actually know for certain how it works.

Other than additionally enemies dropping additional currency, no dice. That still matters, since even with that increase you probably can't afford everything in the shops, but I don't think it's what you were hoping to hear.

Are enemies item drop rates adjusted accordingly? More enemies, more nuts. But if they decrease the drop rate, there is not much incentive.

Put the other way around. If you go for the more compressed stages, do you get the same amount?

The drop rate is unaffected.

So mathematically, the only incentive to go for longer stages is you'd get more enemies and if the drop rates are per-enemy and not global(a set amount per level), then it is slightly more lucrative.

I'm the kind of guy who will make dangerous moves in this game just to kill all the enemies to make sure i collect all the possible nuts in a level so I can shop like crazy. I'll even use the red vending machines so much as to put myself in a serious disadvantage before a boss, because I'm crazy about gambling mechanics in games. I'll face a boss with 4 hp because i had to get those extra nuts for my replicator so I can buy everything in the shop on the next level. I love the extra tension, and the reward at the end even moreso.

Sorry about the rant there.

The only advantage to longer levels I can think of is if you are running an armor on kill build and you are killing more than you are getting hit

Also the nuts. You aren't affording everything in every shop under realistic circumstances.

With the right build you can clean out every shop
