(the controller, that is, not the game)

Any PS4 or Xbox controller required to play this game. Or you may use any cheap gaming-controller.

OK, so any of them (PS4, Xbox, generic) will work with a PC?

Yes bro.

Don't they have console-specific connections?

No, just plugged the controller and play on PC

Are they USB then?

I brought a Xbox one controller that came with a USB receiver thing so I can play wirelessly. No need for cable, only works with Windows 10 I found that out the hard way

Any recommended generic ones? I assume they're cheaper?
RabRac Jul 12, 2019 @ 9:21am
Generic PS2 ones are obviously cheaper, they're about 1/10th the price of an Xbox One controller here.

BUT

If you have spare money, buy an XB1 controller, mostly because precise shots may not work as planned when using the generic's analog sticks.

All in all, they get the work done, but go for XB1/PS4 if you have the cash.

But do they all work equally well with a PC? As in, they connect to it fine and stuff?
RabRac Jul 15, 2019 @ 8:30am
Yeah, they all work fine, its just the details that make the difference between generic and xb1/ps4 controllers,

But if you're not too obsessed about hitting precise shots and are fine with that, you'll enjoy it a ton

Found a load of different PS4 controllers on ebay for £3ish, just searching playstation 4 controller - never been a console user so no idea which one to go for...can you post a link to one you think is good? Was inclined to go for a PS2 one or something, but at £3, it's a no-brainer! Just don't know which one to get.

I'm sorry I can't help you there, cause the only console I ever touched was the NES lol. You can try asking the good folks on Console Gaming subreddits, they're the ones to talk to in this case.

Cheers.
