This game is too hard for me. I can't get past the opening song. Any help/advice?

Try to strike on the beat. Makes a world of difference.

On topic: fantastic game. What a pleasant surprise. I love this.

i have to complain a bit.
Stage 5 the timing is off, and I have no idea why. Is the timing changing every other hit or something?
this literally makes no sense.
I have a simialr issue with stage 3, the wind moving thew ball absolutely throws the time off, and it really shouldn't be doing that.

i am 100% positive I'm hitting the ball on time, and it misses randomly.

also, how does the #1 person on leaderboard have over 1 million points? how do you even get near that much?

Ryan is right. Also it's just a matter of time, practice for some time and you will get used to it :)

BTW thanks, Ryan, for kind words.

Hm, I can understand what you say about stage 3 (even though the time when you must hit the Ball doesn't change, it's just the visual effect of fast moving Ball that confused you), but stage 5 is 100% correct on timings. Nevertheless, I'm planning to make more in-game settings so Player could change some things in "rhythm formula" if he thinks beat is off.
Thanks for sharing :)

About points.
You get points for playing with game tracks or your tracks (but No fail Mode and Split screen don't count).
Points depend on BPM, game Mode you play (double Ball, wind etc), lenght of the song and your precision.
So you can upload a very fast very long song and play it on Double Ball and score *very_big_number* points. (the thing is that it will be too hard!)
As far as I know the guy who scored 1kk played the last song of the game (Arc Slave - Candid) on Double Mode.

ah, okay, I discovered the points rely on length and BPM pretty quickly, but I didnt see any songs going over 100 bpm.

also quick question about the soundtrack - there's 22 tracks? and most of them are 2 minutes + , but I dont see them in game. Are there unused tracks?
and is the soundtrack available to buy? I just ripped the files ( was curious ) if there's aplace to buy it, let me know ^^
I wanted to upload it to youtube to help promote the game, so if there's a way to purchase the stuff - i'd liek to add that in the video .

thanks!

I don't know where you got that info, hah. There are 15 tracks in the game each less then 1 min, but those are cut version, original songs are longer. I will upload full version of them on YT :)

Honestly, there are more tracks but I won't use em in game, because they were there just for example :)

This game is lovely, perfect to just step back and breathe for a few minutes, thank you for making it! I almost find myself wishing there was an endless/shuffle mode ... maybe a few beats as one song ends where the opponent juggles the ball on the paddle, then serves it back into play with the start of the next song. Though I've barely begun unlocking things ... is there a mode like that unlocked later into the game?

Thank you! No, there is no mode like that. I was thinking about making thing like a while ago, but didn't have much time before release. When I'm done fixing bugs and other stuff, I will think about adding a such mode :)

The only complaint I have is when the ball goes from far right to far left or far left to far right. On the final level these were the only things standing in my way. The visual looks too similar to far right to middle or far left to middle. Maybe my reaction time just sucks? It's still very difficult to tell where the ball is going in the time that you have.

Hm, dunno, it's just, again, the matter of practice. When the ball is on his halfway down you are 100% sure on which box he is flying too :)
