I find it frustrating that even while you're "in the zone" with your combos and all, every enemy can cut it short. In Shank 1, the enemies sort of waited on you to stop butchering a foe, so you could proceed to the next uninterrupted. Here, when there's more than 4-5 enemies on screen, I find mounting a decent combo impossible because one of them is bound to blast you in the middle of it. And the already mentioned fact they got rid of the 2-in-1 Dodge/Block command from Shank 1 and replaced it with Dodge Left and Dodge Right on the analog stick.
Still a very, very enjoyable game, but Shank 1 remains my favorite.
So i think you can enjoy your combos when there is only one foe there. LOL
