Controller issues (Linux)
I'm experiencing some issues with the wireless xbox 360 controller and shank 2: the triggers and the RB/LB don't work. Also the menu navigation via controller is bugged, you can get down, but you can't get up in the menu for example. Other games like Guacamelee and SMB work just fine.

Anyone else having these problems with the Linux version? Any fixes?

EDIT: Same thing with the Logitech F710. Also if you try to rebind the buttons, it will instantly rebind the chosen button as "-z axis"...

on the Linux version of Shank 2,your best bet is to use a pse 3 controller ,or a generic controller ,that way you can manually configure the button layout! I do not know why they gave the 360 controller such a ♥♥♥♥♥ option on Linux, but on windows it is perfect!

On Linux, I use the "Power A" PS3 controller so i can configure the button layout!

On Linux "steel storm burning retrobution",the 360 controller is ♥♥♥♥ to! use the power a ps3 controller for these games IF ON LINUX!

I have gotten it to work without issue switching the xpad driver out for the xboxdrv.

ON LINUX, "SHANK" works perfect with 360 controller, even has vibration options! but Shank2 on Linux is horrible, why would they deny 360 support on shank2 when it was full support on shank?! stupid idiots! kinda insulting of them!

So much for the Steam Box.. pretty much every distro of Linux really has a lot of compatibility issues with common everyday gaming hardware/video cards.

They really have to get compatibility up before they can even dream it.

I have search on these discussions : for me work everythink installing xboxdrv , and running on terminal
rmmod xpad
and then
xboxdrv
, ( or )
xboxdrv --silent

The only things differents are L2 and R2 that are inverted ( L2 works like R2 and viceversa ) , and the same for select and the start buttom .

Try turning it on and off again.

Hi Guys,

Same problem here with Linux and Xbox 360 controller.
Shank the first works very fine, the second is a shame from Klei.
I have the xboxdrv running too and it changes nothing.

I also tried turn off and turn on the pad but the only result is the pad is no more detected inside the game.

Hi,
Sorry for thread necromancy, but I hope this will be useful for others like me.
I found a kind of a fix. I don't need xpad or xboxdrv for it: https://steamcommunity.com/app/102840/discussions/0/1748980761797764248/
Let me know in that thread if it works for you.
