hints on The Affair of the Dappled Rose

In the HoL DLC I'm a bit stuck atm on following up the Affair of the Dappled Rose with Arun Peel. I've reached the point where the initial readings with the 4 visitors are complete and I now can ask any of them to follow up on it in the Tree of Wisdoms. I must have forgotten to note Arun's initial dialogue where he asks what he is looking for; his hint in the ToW screen says:

"Dappled roses are a weapon against Calyptra - a weapon made for the Vagabond and her allies among the hours. Now the Vagabond is calling on old alliances to strengthen her hand. Arun is clearly enjoying the excitement."

Dr al-Adim also has a fairly vague hint asking for anything concerning Miah. After skimming through my fairly huge book collection I can't find any titles or descriptions that specifically mention Miah/Calyptra (tried with Rose of Nuriel and also Ettery After since it teaches an Inks skill which mentions Calyptra, but no luck with Arun simply responding "no no no"). Fair enough that he's enigmatic lol but I seem to be out of leads. Any hints on what book(s) would meet his request - is it pretty much only the Book of Miah which I don't seem to have?

I've been avoiding following it up with the other characters since Arun is the non-Inspired visitor who would best slot into the Lighthouse Institute as Secretary Nunciant. Is this one an Incident which ends after the first followup, or one where it's ok to discuss it with everyone? Thanks in advance!

I suspect you should try The Three and the Three (St Chiavi Manuscript) for Peel.
And yeah, al-Adim probably is looking for the Book of Miah.

Thank you! Ironically Dr Peel has now developed Sympathy:Carapace and Agenda:Revelation, which it appears are opposite to the Fear:Carapace and Agenda:Secrecy of my other candidates. Am I understanding right that it'll still be possible to nominate them to the Institute, but would result in an ending where the members' agendas are in conflict?

Correct. If it's a deadlock then you can't choose either agenda. I haven't checked when there is conflict but one side has more people than the other.
