There is a memory and bench combination that would work in your instance. I can spoil it if you like.
I will also add that you aren't going to be evolving with every memory you commit. It takes multiple instances of the aspect of the soul in order to evolve, so some memories are by necessity going to be used just to get another card.
To be honest, the whole tree of wisdoms is a lot less important than it presents itself to be. Just having a couple of each element, even unupgraded, is still good enough to get major victories. You'll eventually be printing 7 aspect inks, 6+ aspect persistent memories or numen, and 4-6 aspect drinks/tools that will let you crack any book or room no matter how upgraded (or not) your elements of the soul are. Upgrading is more of a convenience than a necessity.
Once you craft the required memory, you'll need to locate a workstation that can take two soul cards (any workstation that can perform evolutions will have this trait) and accepts at least one aspect each from Mettle, Applebright Euphonies, and the memory in question. If the memory has the evolve via Illumination tag, it doesn't matter that the workstation itself doesn't.
The memories that can evolve via Illumination are Winning Move and Invincible Audacity. However I believe you'll need the latter, as I don't think there is a workstation that can take Winning Move (Edge) and Applebright Euphonies (Sky/Grail) -- though I may be wrong.
As for useful workstations: look for something that can take both Sky and Forge, which is a relatively common combination. Good luck!
Game gave impression that there's always going to be a way to evolve regardless of what skill you assign on the tree via workshops but seems like its time to learn crafting for me
