Evolve with... Ascendant Harmony???
(Popping in from GOG copy)

So, is the Ascendant Harmony song/memory supposed to have an "Evolve with Birdsong" aspect on it?
A) That's an aspect you see on workstations, not memories
B) You can use it to make workstations tuned to other Wisdoms work with Birdsong.
Ex.) I just evolved to ++Trist on a Birdsong-aligned Stone Stories skill (Scale/Nectar) at the nominally-Hushery Catacombs Altar.

Doesn't seem quite right, but powerful if intended!

Many memories are going to have "evolve by" but are currently on the Beta. It appears AK pushed that memory ahead of schedule so you get a little sneak peak.

I just saw the aspect, wondered if it worked the way I thought it was going to, then it did, and then I felt like I got away with something I shouldn't have, you know?

I got caught off guard too, but yeah it seems to be a new feature.

This appears to be the solution to the "some skills can be committed to wisdoms whose evolution stations do not match the aspects of the soul cards they give/the skill itself." There are a few that suffer from this.

You can also evolve with Curious Hunch with:
Evolve via Nyctodromy

I could use Nyctodromy with this to evolve my Soul. [Once you've committed a skill to the Nyctodromy Wisdom, you can use that skill with this to combine two identical Soul cards into a greater one. But you must use a skill you've attuned to that Wisdom, and the attunement will only work once.]

Also, were Ascendant Harmony and Curious Hunch always Persistent?

No. That's another change: more higher-level memories are now persistent. Not all, I think, but more of them.
