Choosing the crafting recipe?

Okay, so I have a level 5 skill. The skill has 6 in its primary (edge) and 5 in its secondary (moon) which means that whenever I try to craft with it, it produces the moon recipe even when I want it to produce the edge recipe. I can add a soul with edge in it, still does nothing to change it back to the edge crafting recipe.

Is there something in the UI I'm missing, or should this inaccessibility of recipes be reported as a bug?

no these kind of problems are inherited from previous game，i dont know the why
but like others said before，you can try using other edge skills to bypass it
or you can just go hardcore and degrade it during numa i think？

I think you may be confused on the aspects as an intensity 5 or higher edge will always beat out a moon under intensity 10(because the game does alphabetical order priority). In general you have to overpower the aspect with a 10 intensity aspect while the first one stays under 10.

Exactly the same issue I'm having. I have a skill that i can use to make an incredibly useful tool, but i accidentally upgraded it one too many times and now it has a base 5 stat of the type that i do not want to use, and a 4 of the one that i want, and no matter what i add it defaults to the wrong one, so I lost the recipe entirely. Extremely frustrating.

Ok well I give up then. It works left to right(alphabetical) for like everything else but not that LOL.

What happened if you try mettle on the soul slot?

I believe that if you supply edge of 10 or higher, it will overpower the moon. You can then craft the prentice-level edge recipe by not supplying whatever additional ingredient the next level requires.
