Secrets? [Spoilers hopefully]
People keep mentioning secrets they've uncovered and not saying what they are! There's no way I'm going to uncover any of them on my own, so what have you found?

That could refer to so many things, so I'm not sure what you mean or if I'm thinking of the same things as other players.. Maybe Numens? I've been focusing on unlocking the house + reading books, but for example, I was playing around with crafting and ended up with a scroll: a very special, rare scroll.

If you really want to know, I helpfully took a screenshot so I have sort of a breadcrumb trail:

In the room with "Shrine: the Chancel," I used Sacra Limae at 2 (not sure if this matters, maybe it could be lower if you balance it out with other stuff? I think you do have to have it attuned to Horomachistry though) and added 2x Wist, and I think a candle? I ended up with The Sun Disfigured, which is a scroll written in Clacktrack with a 10 grail challenge. "A scroll of anthropoderm parchment, written in the golden ink called Uzult. [This book houses a numen - a truth so powerful it can perhaps believe itself.] My impression is that different numens unlock different possible endings?

Hey! I've found three secrets, but I know that there are three more and it's killing me that I can't find them.
In the spirit of sharing, here are three books that all hint at the same secret (I think): The Carbonek Schism, Sunset Celia and the End of Days, and The Secret Colours.
Another secret is unlocked by using the Key of Hush House, that one I didn't find them any hint for in any books but the workstation does have a key hole.
The third secret is hinted at in the book The Wonderful Shape.

Click on the middle of the main menu screen where you continue your game from.

I keep seeing people say "oh yes I used [item] to get a secret" or "if you use [skill] you get [thing]" but without details. I guess things you'd stumble across during normal gameplay that don't give the expected result. Like you're trying to craft one thing but you slot in a certain skill and it does something unexpected. Like the stuff pempelune is hinting at but still isn't telling me out of malice I can only presume.

Ah, sorry! I was thinking it'd be more fun to figure it out yourself.
But ok! The three books one all point to the Numen that Kara is talking about.
The Rowenarium give you another Numen if you provide it with the Key (it's the only workstation in the entire game to accept keys, which is how I found it).
The one hinted at by The Wonderful Shape is unlocked by Tridesma Hiera at the Altar of the Knot in Our Lady Beneath.

There are other books that *seem* to be hinting at other secrets, but I haven't found any of them.

Does it count as a secret that there is a couch that has a Bronze Spintria in it the first time you check it?

I was just joking but thank you! I swear I tried the key there but I'll try again.

An important note is that for all the secrets I've found, if you've got the correct item/skill and at least 10 Aspect, the game will tell you you're on to something, and then it's just a matter of providing 15 Aspects.
I've actually tried using that to bruteforce the more suspicious locations (the Altar of Saint Tantreto, the Chrysalis, etc) but to no avail, which lead me to believe the remaining secrets need specific items. So you'd think some book would tell you what items to use where, but I got nothing.

EDIT: Oh, and for another secret. Well, it's not quite a secret, but it doesn't seem to be advertised and it's pretty neat. If you've got the Perpetual Edition, in the game files there's an archive with many Book of Hours themed wallpapers.

In the Librarian's Quarters, if you claim the bed (with Phost), then input any nonfatigued soul, Edicts Inviolable (from What Does Not Bark, a Moon 4 Nocturnal-period book; may be other sources), and the stone slab on the shelf in the same room (put it in the beverage slot), you get a moon 18 book with a numen.

In The Grand Ascent, if you get all the busts and put them in the right places, you get a Trist and an achievement.

Someone told me! They said they figured it out by seeing the stone tablet flash when they moused over the slot that should only accept drinks. Though you could put two and two together with the tablet description & What Does Not Bark text, though I don't know how you'd know to literally sleep on it.

I finally found a new one! Remember how The Carmine Petals: Revised talk about using the Disciplines of the Scar or Hammer to release a prisoner? I thought it talked about the Chrysalis, but none of those skills can be used there.
There is, however, another place where a prisoner once was held, and you *can* use those skills there...
No item necessary for this one.

I'm stuck on the last one... I'm certain it's hiding behind St Tentreto. And I got something that relate to St Tentreto: the phonograph records The Tower Falls/Rises refer to it: "It speaks, lastly, of its own conclusion, when it might, might, might be spoken in dreams before the Deep Door, by a Messenger of Histories..."
The Librarian is the Messenger of Histories, and St Tentreto is called St Tentreto of the Deep Door.
Those two give the skill Preliminal Meter, which is "the subtle rhythms of words which open ways" so that's probably the necessary skill... but no dice. It doesn't open. I'm probably missing an item, but what?

This is the thread we've been refering too ;). Sorry I just assumed you wanted spoiler free answers. https://steamcommunity.com/app/1028310/discussions/0/3812913565884213373/
