What's the easy way to heal Maladies?

I've read a book and got Fet: Gisting Malady. It says only 5 Grail item will cure it. I have absolutely now idea where to get this much in the early game and I have no Grail whatsoever.

Game says leaving Malady untreated can be bad. How bad is it?

Not the end of the world, you can still use the malady card and accomplish quite a bit, although it might throw off your initial plans.

You need the right bed to be able to heal that malady, you may not even find it for quite a while, my Wist was gone for the first 20 hours of my run from doing this but I eventually got them both healed... it wasn't an issue to have the maladies around for many seasons / years.

It's not game-endingly bad but it can hamper your progress as the malady will cut the aspect's stats down to pitiful numbers until the malady is removed. You will need to get 5 of the aspect shown on the affected card, something to drink, and a bed that has the appropriate aspects in the upper right corner of its pop-up.

It's a bit restrictive early-game, but not too bad. You can heal Maladies by slotting it in a corresponding bed with the correct drink

To clarify, it does NOT take a Power 5 item to heal maladies. You can still slot in another healthy soul, a skill and a memory as well and add them up to Grail 5. Heck if you don't need the drink to provide Grail to hit Grail 5 then you can use any drink, even well water.

Yah, I mostly just use any drink and try to focus on the skill that has the correct aspect, it seems really bad at first but eventually it won't be an issue.

Thanks. I guess I will have to search for workshop and drink now. Got no Grail skills and getting them won't be easy I think.
