I like Having a Malady...

I dunno if this is a bug or intended effect but a maladied soul part doesn't get exhausted, nor can it be "corrupted" again. So what i can do is catalog books using corrupted soul parts, you just need an appropriate desk. And you can do this multiple times a day without fear of losing the malady.

You can also use the maladied soul in the appropriate desk to reread books to get the same memories back from said book, over and over and over again.

Yes, having one soul with a malady can be quite helpful for rapidly processing new books or generating memories early on. As you progress, you'll get a ton of soul elements and won't run out of "actions" as quickly, which is when you should combine soul elements into stronger + ones.

On That topic, I have just discovered 2 Nyctodromy evolution stations, but neither accept trist. A different discussion has led me to believe that each wisdom only gives 1 of 2 soul parts. so if trist isn't accepted at either station and assuming the other soul pat is only accepted at 1, whats the point of the second Nyctodromy station? unless both accept the other soul part...
I must confess i havnt gotten it yet from Nyctodromy.

Yeah, only certain combinations will work. As you open up more of the library, you will have more stations and be able to upgrade soul types which you couldn't handle before.

We should compile the aspects maladied versions of various soul aspects have. I'm usually against using outside notes but this one feels too tedious to test. Lets see off memory,

• Sick heart is winter
  
• Westengreyed ereb is nectar
  
• Fascinated phost I think was still lantern, been a while but could been sky or moon

I think that malady curing aspect demands are random because in my session
Fascinated phost require nectar
Acuted shapt require winter.

BTW how do you get nectar memory. I got it only once and i did not pay attention of what i did back then

Actually I thought of a method that should test it without too much tedium, the hint is also the real time it takes. A little over a minute per aspect.

You can get Memory: Impulse from Travelling at Night Vol. 1 or Memory: Scent from eating a pumpkin. Those are just the ones I found, I'm sure there are more.

Scents easier to get from considering potted plants, generally flowers.

Also just to spoil the method its working during numa which takes 6 min.
