Suggestion: Read books tell you what memory they give
Because there is nothing like floundering around trying to get a specific memory so you can exalt an assistant or solver another book. Made much worse by finding the book, and then putting it in a place you will find it again, and then forgetting where your put it.

Something as simple as another symbol with the picture of memory on it in the book's aspect window would be much appreciated.

Ho ho; devs listen up, with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane amount of combinations in this game you need to give players some QoL; not too much, make ppl sort books, put thing son shelves, but some serious tooltips or something needs to be thought out.

What is it, 11 souls, 64 skills, ??? many elements, how many objects are we talking about?

I mean dude give the devs time to cook, I'm fairly sure they are looking into QoL. We're what, halfway a week after release? Cultsim took many iterations to be pain free just btw.

I'm not disagreeing with the suggestion itself but how it was presented.

Maybe you're right and I read tone in text that wasn't there. Which would be my bad.

Not really worth diving into further, but just for clarity's sake I was meaning the 1st dude I replied to not you to begin with. But think I probably overreacted there regardless.

Anyway, I'm washing my hands of this sorry for the derailing and the misunderstanding.

I feel like the devs here have a balance to keep. Too much QoL stuff might make a game that is basically about sorting and ordering chaos a bit less interesting.

I agree or having the name of the memory show up a the top of the window the way it does when crafting.

i think its a part of the puzzle, but any kind of in-game notebook would be much better

My approach so far has been to only hold onto books that provide good memories for their own aspects. That way if I need an aspect x memory I can reread my aspect x books. All books that provide off-aspect memories are shoved in some dusty corner. I imagine eventually I might find some books that generate particularly strong off-aspect memories, and then I will have to start taking notes.
