Mastery: Winter?

So I'm still working towards the endgame (I think? Still very confused, having fun but starting to get fatigued). My book with the skull on it has Mastery: Winter. Is that the thing I need to break 20 Winter for and also have an Ink of Revelation? Or can I try to use Lantern instead? Thanks. I have so many questions.

There's multiple steps to accomplish and so far I've only done the first. Your first Determination requires 20 of your chosen Aspect and (to my knowledge) the Encaustum Terminale - I don't know if there are multiple, but Uzult (Lantern) is the one I used.

Mind if I ask how you got to the Lantern Encaustum Terminale? I made it to the Winter one with the Winter aspected (thought I had to because my notebook said Mastery: Winter) but now I'm curious if I'd still be able to write into it with the Lantern one, so I'm working on that. So far getting a high level Inks of Revelation is good, but the recipe confuses me.
