Combining Money

You can break money down but how do you combine denominations? Seeing as hirelings seem to want the exact amount with one coin but not taking the required amount with multiple coins of the same value.

If you press the auto sort, it combines coinage up to the highest set it can. Also, you can give hirelings more than they're asking for and get change.

You can also drag a coin into another to combine them.

Keep in mind as well that everyone I've encountered thus far has made change if I use high denominations.
