A.V.A won't start, Please help!

I just downloaded A.V.A from steam, it downloaded and started fine but when it gets to the small window that shows everyone that made A.V.A and A.V.A on the top left corner it loads and then stops as if i closed it.

I have the same problem. there are few topic about this already but no real answer on how to fix it. GMs for AVA know about it and are looking into it. thats all the info i gotten so far

i dont know if its something like i have a corrupted gameguard or just the fact steam and A.V.A dont go together very well

It actually might be GameGuard detecting steam as a "cheat program" or something like that

No, i un-installed GameGuard and it's still stuck

well what do you know, ignore my last post... I just found out my particular problem by heavy searching on aria forums and found this:

It appears that the XIGNCODE was the problem and needed to replace the files, and after doing that, voila, the game miraculously started and logged in !

Many thx to the forum poster, I really needed the game to work, I was getting bored like hell in combat arms :P

EDIT: I still have a copy of the entire orignial XIGNCODE folder from steam, if any Mods or Game manager want to figure out why the problem was there. Thx

I've been having the same problem but I start Aeria I click "play game" and it doesn't start! Need answers.

When I try to open A.V.A, it asks "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to your computer?" If I say yes, a tab named "AVA Launcher" opens and says "SteamAPI_Init() failed. LastError = 0". If I say no, a Steam tab opens and says "failed to start game (unknown error)". I don't know what to do, can anyone help?

have you tried installing and launching our game through the Ignite portal? Also, we recommend you this link on Steam, https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 to verify that you installed your files correctly.
