I'm more curious if there will be some changes to the gunplay. I liked AVA back in the day (2010-2011) and I played it a lot, but later I played a lot of Ghost in The Shell First Assault and now Black Squad and now that I tried AVA again to remember what it was, gunplay feels so ancient and outdated - most weapons are just for spraying, scopes on weapons are too big, cumbersome and useless.

I wish it could improve like in GITSFA and BS, where almost 80% of full automatic weapons require tap firing in order to hit the target.

But even if it stays the same I think I can still get behind this.

I think the new AVA will improve this a little bit.

I sure hope so. I read somewhere that the gunplay changed over the years and become more spray & pray friendly and, as I tried it recently, I was turned off, I started remembering that it wasn't like this at first.

Don't be so quick to make conclusions. You have no idea how different can they make it compared to what it used to be.

Well the whole purpose was that it was supposed to be more like the game used to be. And I meant that in the sense of this time I won't chase after cosmetic weapons. Mind you, hopefully they go back to when the guns weren't all lasers.

I played AVA for 5 years, because it was fun and all the other F2P FPS games felt stiff and outdated. People say that the recoil was changed, but that probably happened after I stopped playing and after I stopped playing and I don't really remember. When I tried it recently, the shooting felt basic, horrible and outdated.

The premise of "old glory" sounds fine, but I hope there have also modernized the shooting so it's actually interesting.

I hope they made scopes on other weapons than snipers useful.

I hope when you start sprinting W+W or whatever you can use A and D, because you couldn't before and after I played other games and tried AVA again that felt like a drawback.

AVA was fun, but by 2010's standards. Honestly, the shooting mechanics in Ghost in the Shell First Assault were way better, even than those of old AVA.

I really hope they modernize the shooting, because if it's just the old thing with a new skin, I will be really disappointed.

Even Black Squad's shooting is good, but the problem there is that many weapons are very alike, there is no feeling of progress and there are no such things as classes (like in AVA) and no weapon customization... and most importantly there is no Escort or any other meaningful mode with respawning. I'm sick of playing Demolition and feeling as if I'm not making any progress.

RedDuck really need to do more than just update the graphics. The game they are releasing should look like it's from 2018 and make even the CoD console kids stop for a moment and say "daaaayum..."
