1) Lower left corner of the arena is where you stand. Here two angels (or an angel and avenger) will block you from other enemies.
2) Ferre must start with summoning. By must I mean if he runs towards you in the beginning-load game. He must NOT reach you first.
3) Avoid attacking angels at first. Because lightning retaliation.
4) NEARLY EVERY hit you land on Ferre must be a crit. No crit=load game.
5) Remember, you can save game on your turn!
6) If you manage to kill all enemies but die because of lightning retaliation, it still counts as victory!
7) These tips are variable. Expierement with them and you will eventually succeed!
GOOD LUCK!
I did enjoy the epilogue part. Just glad I'm done with the thing now.
I agree with BakerBay thats mostly how I did it.
It's funny because the mission after that is basically a walk in the park.
but they remade it from the scracth for reincarnation
whyyy?
also my misrael don't even dшу so in theory it is possible to just spam ferre killing one unit after other one by one

that was a painful fight to watch.
you could have just boxed ferre in with your deaths, and slaughtered him with zero losses.
instead, you wasted turns taking out his summons, and trying to resurrect your hero over and over.
oh well.
The Ferre that is left isn't the one you just fought, he just has a bunch of banshees. Killing him does nothing, doesn't advance the mission.
However, if you kill him and the undead surrounding the Empire capitol, you can then find the original Ferre party hiding off to the side of the capitol. (South side, IIRC.) You can use spells and throw other armies at him to weaken Ferre and kill the rest of his party, then you can finish him off with your archangel guy. Despite not being at the quest location, this *does* finish the mission. This is the only way I was able to get past him.
