I've installed mods for FF8 for the first time.
Good work on Demaster, it's really easy to use. :)
So this is my mod list.
- Angelwing Ultima Remastered v1.0.a
- SeedRemastered v1.2
- BattlefieldPack Remastered v2.0 Ultima
- HorizonPack Ultima Remastered v1.a
- Field Model Textures v1.0.1
- Rebirth Flame Remastered v2.0-SR
- LunarCry Remastered v2.1
- Lionheart Remastered v2.0
- Tripod_TripleTriad Remastered v1.1
Everything looks fine so far.
I've either used your Demaster version with Irvines fix from here:

Yet I had a weird bug in the train to Timber:

On the outside of the train there was also a movable object, that caused either a graphical glitch, everytime such a railway post is passed.
Do you know which mod could cause such an issue?
I'll continue my playthrough trying to document such issues. Currently the only graphical glitch I found... Yet there are many more backgrounds to come. ^^

Also check out that weird metal piece that appears and disappears on the window, when such railway posts are passing on the outside.
Also I found 2 new issues:

Apparently it looks like the button highlight for the Equipment-button thinks it is a "sub"-button, as it's off.
Not that of a big deal.
Occasionally I had issues with weird blocks again like in my first bug report here.
For example when coming into the room in Galbadia Garden (fight of the gardens) where Seifer and Edea are waiting.
As long as she is on the bed, there will occasionally flash a big block directly behind her.
In Esthar there are some blocks at the blinking arrows.
But most annoyingly... When Squall carries Rinoa around on his back, she blinks like the Moombas do.
Everything else looks very stunning. I really hope the mod pack will get enhanced a bit more to iron out these issues I reported.
I'm currently right before attacking Lunatic Pandora, so I am almost done with the game. :)

Please do not get me wrong. I really like the mods overall. They add a lot of joy to the game!
But things like these or the crash in the Galbadia Prison are quite... Annoying.
My code was 63380.
Numbers after 6 get a blocky issue.
And the last number wasn't shown. In this case it wasn't that bad as it was 0. ^^
Otherwise you have to count the changes.
The problem is... It was told that FX cannot be changed. So I am not sure if there is a way to mod this.
I wish... As everything else is quite amazing.
The blinking chars are a common issue that affects a few.
The model of Angelo the dog (when first meeting her in the train room where Rinoa sleeps) is blinking.
Parts of the Propagators are blinking (that weird jaw in their front sometimes disappears).
As I previously mentioned Rinoa attached to Squall (carrying on his back) is blinking pretty often, which is quite annoying.
Aside of that and the mentioned crash in the Desert Prison are the only issues I had during my playthrough.
Everything else looks quite fine, even though the FX still produces pixels which makes it quite clear that there is a big difference in texture quality for some aspects of the game.
I've played once more with all the packages from quimm, but also with the new updates on Angelwing (which is currently still only available on Patreon).
- Angelwing
- HorizonPack
- BattlefieldPack
These 3 got updated.
This one is fixed as verified.
What I find weird is that I still get the crash in the prison.
Which is possibly related to the character texture pack.
Yet I cannot play without it, as I really hate Squall's model in the remaster. The texture pack changes it and makes it far better.
Unfortunately as of that one scene with Irvine it crashes the game. :(
Update:
These weird block on the lights are fixed too.
There is just one weird blocky texture left. At the bottom of the prison, when opening the door which brings a lot of sand in. There will be a weird blocky texture on the sand-covered ground.
Moombas are still blinking though.
I've now tried without having any character textures installed.
It's still crashing. :O
Gonna continue without DEMASTER (clean reinstall) and put in the mods after that scene.
Hopefully that gets addessed.
Alright, had to reinstall once more. oO
Using v1.3.3 of Demaster with the update to support DDS-files (as linked on MCindus page).
When rushing up with Squall, Rinoa and a party member of choice, a sequence with Irvine would play once more.
Get a CTD instead :(
I'll try to hop over that one scene and hope everything's fine afterwards...
When fighting Iron Clad (BGH251F2), there are weird hovering spikes on top of the fences surrounding the battlefield.
has the ‘xell/prison’ crash actually been fixed yet? or should i expect to be kicked out of the game at this point? i've just managed to get demaster (1033+patch 1035) and all mods running and i'm highly delighted. it would be too bad to know that the game is already over in prison. btw: is there already an EFIGS version of the SeeDRemastered UI?
Best Regards
