Cheats activated for mistake and achievements
As the title, i tried to pause the game instead i hit F1 to enable something that i don't remember, after few seconds i realized that i activated the cheat or at least i think so, so i close the game WITHOUT saving. Should i restart the game? :/ i don' want to miss the achievements

i think you're right,thanks a lot. :D i just discovered that f1 is a booster and not a cheat :)

F1, F2, and F3 won't disable achievements, they should be safe to use. You can only access cheats that will disable them through the ESC menu.

what cheats?

Press "ESC" and check out the booster and cheat menus there.
Be aware that ingame cheats block your achievements.

If ResidentEvul13 is using the savegame he endorsed in another thread here on the hub, I doubt he needs any ingame cheats.

Just checked it myself. All chars have 255 in all attributes, so that's that. ^^

I rather prefer playing with weak chars, but OP G.F.s. XD
Still have a +99 hrs savegame in my mem card for PS1 (the counter even turned red when you shot over the maximum of 99 hrs XD), so I don't see any reason in grinding all through again.

Even though I was still power playing on that one, as the game actually provides different colors on the game time counter: White, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Purple, which supports 599 hrs and 59 minutes.
So with Red, I just had the first overflow. ^^

i see the Cheat option when i hit ESC but it doesn't seem like i can click or enable it. I am still on the part before that Fire Cavern tho. Does it unlock later, and if so when?

I noticed it's greyed out when I'm in the menus. Close all menus so you can actually see your characters and stuff and try again.

Freaking thank you! I was looking all over the net for this kind of answer. I knew there had to be some way to find the new boosters/cheats but I kept getting pulled to pages about the old FF8 saying you needed to press all the F number keys for them, which is literally ony F1-F4 and nothing about the rest. I was starting to think they removed some of the cheats in an update or something. Thank god I found your comment.
