Basically from what I've looked up:
===
Selphie has a chance to get The End until level 40. She then loses the ability to roll The End until she is at level 80. Both Crisis Level and her level affect the chance.
Level - Crisis Level - Chance of The End
08-09 - 4 - 1/256
10-19 - 3 -1/256
20-29 - 2 1/256
30-39 - 1 - 1/256
80-89 - 4 - 4/256
90-99 - 3 - 4/256
100 - 2 - 4/256
100 - 4 - 1/256
The most reliable chance to get The End is at level 80-89, at less than 11.2% HP and with Aura (Aura needs to be active when starting Slot, but it doesn't matter if it wears off while shuffling through the spells).

Yeah, I did some testing with what I found on google. It seems you can trigger it much easier on lvl 100 WITHOUT AURA and about <13%hp or so.
Aura raises the crisis level which will also mess with the rng on lvl 100 making it harder to roll the end.
