Can't draw for G.F. in Ultimecia's Castle?

I read on the Internet that if you miss Siren, Carbuncle, Pandemona and Leviathan you can draw once again from bosses in Ultimecia's Castle.
However, I just arrived at the castle, got back the option to draw, only to found that there's no G.F. to draw on any of the bosses.
Feeling pretty disappointed, le sigh....
I believe I'm not doing anything wrong?

Make sure the language in the launch window is not set to Japanese.

That's what I read from Internet. But when I fight them, none of the G.F. appears in my draw list...

I guess it must be an odd glitch that I've never seen before and I played the game for over 20 years.

Your game is acting like you already have them.

You can download a save editor to force those GF's to be in your party.

Im not sure if the NA version is the same as the JP version. Seems like a glitch in your version. Your only choices is to either restart the game or use a save editor like hyne.

Ah I just looked it up, the option to get the missed gfs in the castle is only on the NA/english version. The japanese version you dont get a second chance

Great, turns out I just need to change the language to English in the launch menu...

Its not the language thats the problem, the game that was released in japan is different than the one released in North America.

Well, changing the language already worked for me. Now I can draw the missing G.F. ;p
Honestly I think when selected Japanese language, the datasheet or whatever used to look up the drawable magic list are different from all other languages.
